Half a day to one night: walk the cape, swim at the west beach, then move on to Afytos or Nea Phokea. Not a base.
Possidi is a quiet beach village at the tip of the Kassandra peninsula, known for its long sandy spit and pine-backed coves. The ancient site of Mende is nearby. Most travellers stop for a swim and a meal, then continue along the coast.
