Pitt Meadows

Pitt Meadows is a small Fraser Valley municipality of about 18,500 people on the north bank of the Fraser River, where it meets the Pitt River. It is farmland and commuter housing rather than a sightseeing town: the draws are Pitt Lake, the dyke paths and a heritage main street. Most travellers see it as a half-day from Vancouver, Coquitlam or Maple Ridge, or use it as a cheaper bed for the Lower Mainland.

TransLink buses (R3, 701, 791) link Pitt Meadows with Coquitlam Central and Maple Ridge; the West Coast Express commuter train stops here on weekdays only, westbound in the morning and eastbound in the afternoon.
