Get around
RIPTA buses run daily; Route 99 from Kennedy Plaza in Providence continues as Routes 76 and 71 toward Central Avenue, Newport Avenue and Broad Street. Downtown is easiest by bus because traffic and one-way streets frustrate driving. I-95 runs through the city; Exit 29 (from I-95 north) leads to Central Avenue and downtown. The nearest passenger rail stop is downtown Providence, about a 10-minute drive.
