Pandua, Hooghly
পাণ্ডুয়া
Half a day is enough for Pandua: see the Adina Mosque and the minar, then move on. No need to stay overnight.
Pandua is a small town in Hooghly district, West Bengal, known for its medieval Islamic architecture from the Bengal Sultanate period. The main draw is the Adina Mosque, one of the largest mosques in India, and the nearby minar. Most visitors come as a half-day trip from Bandel or Chinsurah, combining it with other Hooghly sights. There is little else to do, so one night is only needed if you are slow or want to explore the surrounding villages.
