Pandalam
Half a day is enough for Pandalam: see the Valiyakoikkal temple, then move on to Pathanamthitta or Alappuzha. One night only if you are on a Sabarimala pilgrimage.
Pandalam is a small temple town in central Kerala, best known as the childhood home of Lord Ayyappa. Most visitors come for the Valiyakoikkal Shree Dharma Shasta Temple, then continue to Pathanamthitta or the backwaters. The town itself is compact and quiet, with limited accommodation and dining.
