Get around
A car is the practical choice: Front Beach Road runs the length of the strip and US 98 (Back Beach Road) is the fast east–west route behind it. The Bay Town Trolley covers parts of the beach (Routes 7 and 8) at about $1 a ride, but waits can be long — treat it as a fallback, not a plan. Scooters and golf carts are rented along Front Beach Road; check insurance and helmet rules before you sign.
