Panagarh
Panagarh is a 2–3 hour stop for the war memorial and museum on a Durgapur–Asansol trip, not a destination on its own. One night only if you have business or family here.
Panagarh is a small industrial town in Paschim Bardhaman, best known for the Panagarh War Memorial and the nearby Ajay River. Most travellers pass through on the way to Durgapur or Asansol. Half a day covers the main sight; there is no reason to stay longer unless you are visiting the army base or have work in the area.
