Paleo Trikeri
Skip unless you have a full day to spend on a car-free island with one taverna, a monastery and quiet coves; half-day is tight.
Paleo Trikeri is a tiny, car-free island in the Pagasitic Gulf, reachable only by taxi boat from Alogoporos beach. It has one 19th-century monastery, a handful of swimming coves and a single taverna at the port. A day trip from Milina or Trikeri works if you want a quiet beach day; overnight is for those who want total stillness.

Scams and watch-outs
- Taxi boat from Alogoporos beach runs on demand; confirm return time with the boatman.
- No shops, no ATM, no pharmacy — bring cash, water and any supplies you need.
- The island has no official accommodation listed online; check with the taverna or local hosts in Trikeri/Milina.
Very safe; the only risk is the taxi boat not running in bad weather or off-season. Bring a charged phone and tell someone your return plan.
