Ouzoud Falls
A half-day stop from Marrakech or a one-night stay if you want to swim and hike the gorge. Skip if you are short on time or have seen other big waterfalls.
Ouzoud Falls is a 110 m cascade in the High Atlas, about 150 km northeast of Marrakech. The main draw is the waterfall itself, seen from the top and bottom via a shady olive-tree path. Old mills, a few cafés and a short gorge walk fill a few hours. Most travellers come as a day trip from Marrakech (3 h each way) or break a journey between Marrakech and the Middle Atlas.
