Ogimi
Spend a half day to one day in Ogimi for beach, forest hike and cultural craft; stay overnight only if you book the Wassa Wassa inn.
Ogimi is a quiet village in northern Okinawa, known for its centenarians, subtropical forest and unspoiled coastline. It is reachable by car or infrequent bus from Naha, and offers a few sights – Nerome Beach, Ta‑taki waterfall, Kijoka Bashofu craft – plus a small 3‑room inn on the beach. One day covers the main attractions; longer stays suit beach‑side relaxation or wellness treatments.
