Give Ocala 1–2 nights if you want Silver Springs and the horse country; skip it if you only have an Orlando park week.
Ocala sits on I-75 between Gainesville and Orlando, in Marion County horse-farm country. The draw is Silver Springs State Park and the springs and trails of Ocala National Forest, not a downtown sight list.
