The honest verdict

Nuuk has about 20,000 people and one main road, so the town fits in a day on foot and taxi. The trips that go wrong are the weather-dependent ones: a fog or wind day that grounds flights, a boat trip cancelled at short notice, and a museum closed on a Monday. Four small areas cover the town; keep one bed, add a fjord boat trip, and leave a spare day before the way home.
