Nuggehalli
Half-day stop between Hassan and Bangalore: see two Hoysala temples, then move on. Not an overnight base.
Nuggehalli is a tiny village in Karnataka, 140 km from Bangalore and 16 km off NH-48. Its two Hoysala-era temples — Lakshmi Narasimha and Sadashiva — are the only reason to stop. Most travellers visit as a short detour between Hassan and Bangalore or as part of a temple circuit with Belur, Halebidu and Shravanabelagola.
