North Central is Nigeria's Middle Belt: Abuja's planned capital, Jos and the Plateau's cool highlands, the Niger–Benue confluence at Lokoja, and Yoruba–Hausa border country in Kwara. It is not a single destination — it is a set of state-by-state decisions. Abuja is the only base with reliable flights, hotels and road links; everything else needs a day of driving and a current security check before you commit.
