Niceville is a small residential city on the Emerald Coast, between Destin and Panama City Beach. It has no beaches of its own but sits on Choctawhatchee Bay. Most visitors stop for the Air Force Armament Museum at Eglin AFB, a state park, or as a cheaper base for the coast. One night is enough unless you are visiting Eglin.
