Give Ndola one night as a Copperbelt stop, not a destination: museum and crash-site memorial, then move on to Kitwe or back to Lusaka.
Ndola is Zambia's Copperbelt hub, 10 km from the DR Congo border and about 15 km from Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport. Mining built it; the sights are thin and spread out, so most travellers use it for a single night between Lusaka and Kitwe, or as an airport stop before a domestic flight. Two nights is enough to see the city and the Dag Hammarskjöld memorial without rushing.
