Nahant

Skip as a destination; pass through on a North Shore drive for the rocky shore and views, or stop for an hour. Not worth a dedicated trip.

Nahant is a tiny, quiet residential town on a rocky peninsula connected to Lynn by a causeway. Once a resort, it now offers a short coastal walk, a small beach and views of Boston's skyline. Most travellers will see enough in 30–60 minutes on the way to Salem or Gloucester.
