Nagarkot
नागरकोट
Spend 1–2 nights for sunrise/sunset Himalayan views, then return to Kathmandu; a day‑trip is possible but limited activities.
Nagarkot is a small resort village on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley, 32 km from the capital. Its main draw is panoramic mountain scenery, especially at sunrise. With few restaurants and limited nightlife, a night or two is enough to catch both sunrise and sunset, then head back to Kathmandu for more cultural sights.
