Mutsu
Use Mutsu as a transit hub; one day is enough for Mt Kamafuse chair‑lift ride and a quick onsen, skip if remote peninsula isn’t a priority.
Mutsu is the main transport hub of Shimokita Peninsula. Trains and buses connect to attractions within 30–90 min. One full day covers the chair‑lift on Mt Kamafuse and a nearby onsen; longer stays are only for deeper exploration.
