Murillo de Gallego
A 1–2 hour stop for the castle ruins and hermitage, or a base for hiking the Mallos de Riglos; not a destination on its own.
Murillo de Gallego is a tiny Aragon village (pop. ~190) at the foot of the Mallos de Riglos rock formations. Its main draws are an 11th-century castle ruin, the Hermitage of the Virgin of La Liena, and the nearby Castle of Loarre. Most visitors pass through in under two hours or use it as a quiet overnight stop for hiking and climbing.
