Mount Prospect is a quiet Chicago suburb 20 miles northwest of downtown and 4 miles north of O'Hare. It has a walkable downtown, a few good restaurants and Randhurst Village for shopping, but most travellers use it as a stopover near the airport or a base for exploring the Northwest Suburbs.
