Motul
One day is enough for Motul: arrive by bus from Mérida, see the plaza, cenote and church, then enjoy huevos motuleños; stay overnight if you want a relaxed pace.
Motul is a small Pueblo Mágico of about 23 000 people in northern Yucatán. It lies ~1 h by second‑class bus from Mérida, its centre is walkable, and the main attractions (Plaza Central, Cenote Sambula, Iglesia de San Juan Bautista, local museum) fit comfortably in a half‑day. A night adds a relaxed breakfast of the famous huevos motuleños.
