Morro Bay

Morro Bay is a small working harbour town of about 10,000 people on California's Central Coast, built around a 177 m volcanic rock at the bay mouth. The draw is the estuary, the sea otters and the walkable Embarcadero, not a long sightseeing list. Most travellers see it in a day and use it as a stop on Highway 1 between San Luis Obispo and Cambria.
