Morigaon
Morigaon is a half-day stop on the way to Kaziranga or Nagaon: see the Mayong witchcraft village and Bordua Than, then move on. One night only if you want to explore the area slowly.
Morigaon, a small town in Central Assam, is a quiet base for visiting the nearby Mayong village (known for its occult history) and the 16th-century Bordua Than. The town itself has a daily bazaar and a few local eateries. Most travellers pass through on the Guwahati–Kaziranga route.
