Montevideo by district
The city stretches east along the Río de la Plata. Ciudad Vieja and the port are at the western tip; Centro and Plaza Independencia are the middle of the city; Parque Rodó, Punta Carretas and Pocitos follow along the shore, and Carrasco (airport side) is further east.
