Monrovia
Monrovia is a two-night base: arrange the airport pickup before you fly, keep the history stops in the morning, and treat every evening move as a car ride — the airport is 1–2.5 hours away and the roads are not for night driving.
Monrovia is spread along a peninsula, with few pavements, heavy traffic and limited tourist infrastructure. The trips that go wrong are the ones that land at night with no pickup, carry too little cash in US dollars, or add a rainy-season road trip. Four short clusters cover a first visit; a driver arranged by your hotel joins them.
