Mithur
ಮಿತ್ತೂರು
Skip Mithur as a destination: it is a farming village with no tourist infrastructure. Pass through on the Mangalore–Puttur road if you are heading to Kukke Subramanya or Dharmasthala.
Mithur is a small village in Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka, known for areca nut and coconut farming. It has two traditional temples and a local festival with a firework display, but no accommodation, restaurants or transport beyond the state highway. Most travellers use it as a transit point, not a stop.
