Mississauga is Canada's seventh-largest city and Toronto's biggest suburb, wrapped around Toronto Pearson (YYZ). It has no single downtown core: the sights sit in old lakefront villages (Port Credit, Streetsville), in City Centre around Square One, and along the Credit River. Without a car, most of it is hard to reach; with one, it works as a cheaper bed near the airport or a stop on the Toronto–Niagara corridor.

Get around
The city is spread out and hard to cross without a car. MiWay buses run the city (cash fare $4.50, Presto or tap $3.50 adult); a fare covers 2 hours of travel and transfers to Brampton, Oakville, Milton, York and TTC services. GO Transit trains on the Lakeshore West line stop at Long Branch, Port Credit and Clarkson. Uber and Lyft are available and usually cost about half a taxi.
