The Metrorail Orange Line runs from the MIA station into the city, stopping at Earlington Heights, Allapattah, Santa Clara, Civic Center, Culmer, Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre, Government Center, Brickell and beyond. Government Center is the downtown interchange with the Green Line and Metromover; Brickell is the financial district. Trains run roughly every 10–15 minutes through the day and less often late at night.
From the terminal, follow signs to the MIA Mover, the elevated people mover that links the terminals to the rental car centre and the Metrorail station. It is free and takes a few minutes. Buy a fare at the station machine or tap a contactless card where accepted; Metrorail uses an EASY Card or a single-ride ticket.
