The old town sits on the west bank of the Elbe below a castle hill with the Albrechtsburg and the cathedral. Get around
Walk. The old town is compact but the climb to the Albrechtsburg is steep. Three urban bus lines (A, B, C) and a sightseeing route (E) cover the rest; all VVO tickets for tariff zone 50 work on buses, regional trains and most ferries.
