Maun by district
Maun is a long, flat town along the Thamalakane River. The Main Mall and the shops are in the middle; Old Maun and its museum are to the west; the riverside lodges are along the river; the airport road runs east. Most lodges are 5–15 minutes by car from each other.

Streets are hard to walk and signs are few: give your driver a lodge name or a landmark, and expect to take a car between areas.
