Matunuck is a summer beach village in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, on the Atlantic shore of Block Island Sound. Get around
The village is small enough to walk: beach, deli, surf shop and bar are all on or just off Matunuck Beach Road. A car is the practical way in and out — Route 1 is the main road, and the Matunuck Beach Road exit works best from the northbound side, with a U-turn needed for some southbound approaches. A bike works well along the flat shore roads.
