Marsabit
A 1–2 night stop between Isiolo and Moyale or a base for Marsabit National Park's elephants and the Chalbi Desert. Not a destination on its own.
Marsabit sits on a green plateau above the dry north, with a national park that protects forest and crater-lake elephants. The town itself is small and walkable. Most travellers pass through on the Isiolo–Moyale route or use it as a launch point for Lake Turkana.
