Malabar is a small town on Florida's Space Coast, between Palm Bay and the Indian River, with no hotel strip and no beach of its own. Its one real draw is the Malabar Scrub Sanctuary, a protected scrub area off Marie Street, free and open dawn to dusk; trail access and conditions are not confirmed, so check locally before you go.
