Magas is the tiny, ultra-modern capital of Ingushetia, built from scratch in the 2000s. Its main draw is the Tower of Concord observation deck and the contrast of a brand-new city against the Caucasus foothills. Most travellers use it as a base for the Dƶæirax-Æsxi reserve and Ingush tower complexes, not as a destination itself.
