Lunas
Spend a half‑day in Lunas to see the Chinese temple and try roasted duck; stay the night only if you need a rest before heading to Kulim.
Lunas is a small town in Kedah, best explored in a few hours. Its main draw is a historic Chinese temple and local roasted‑duck stalls. Most travellers visit en route to Kulim or Alor Setar, so one half‑day is enough unless you prefer a quiet night at Lunas Inn.
