Lubbock

Get around
A car is the practical choice: the city is a flat grid about 125 mi² (324 km²) and most sights sit 5–15 min apart. Citibus runs fixed routes from the Downtown Transfer Plaza, $1.75 one way and $3.50 a day pass, but service is slow for sightseeing.
