Lowanatom
Lowanatom is a quiet beach village on Tanna, best for a 2–3 night stay to relax and visit Mount Yasur. Not a base for the whole island.
Lowanatom is a small coastal village on Tanna's west coast, about 2 miles north of Lenakel. It offers basic bungalows, a bakery, and a couple of kava bars. Most visitors use it as a quiet base for exploring Tanna, especially Mount Yasur, but the volcano is a 30–40 minute drive away. The village itself has no major sights beyond the beach and a small mission store.
