Lloydminster

Lloydminster sits on the Alberta–Saskatchewan boundary at 110° west, the only Canadian city of its size run as one municipality across two provinces. It is a highway stop on the Yellowhead (Hwy 16) roughly halfway between Edmonton and Saskatoon, built on farming and oil refining. There is no public transit, so a car or a taxi is the practical way to move. Most travellers give it one night; the sights fill an afternoon.
