Llanddona
Skip Llanddona unless you have a car and want a quiet beach afternoon or a cheap camping base on Anglesey; half a day is enough.
Llanddona is a small village on the heel of Anglesey with a Blue Flag beach and a few holiday cottages. It has no major sights beyond the beach and a 19th-century church. Most travellers use it as a stop between Beaumaris and the west coast, or as a budget base for camping and caravan sites. Without a car, access is difficult.
