Liuboml is a small town in Volyn Oblast, western Ukraine, with a layered past: a Gothic Orthodox church from the 1400s, an 18th-century church, and the site of a grand synagogue destroyed in the 1940s. Before WWII the town had the highest percentage of Jewish residents (94%) in Poland. Most travellers pass through on a bus between Lutsk, Lviv or Rivne.
