Lincoln is a rural township on the Niagara Escarpment between Grimsby and St. Catharines, made up of Beamsville, Jordan, Vineland and smaller hamlets. It is the core of the Twenty Valley wine district: dozens of small wineries, fruit farms and two walkable village strips. Sights are few and spread out, so it works as a one- or two-night base for wine and the Bruce Trail rather than a sightseeing town.

Get around
A car is close to essential: wineries sit on country roads 3–10 km apart and there is no useful taxi or rideshare coverage. uLinc runs three local bus routes converging on the Fleming Centre in Beamsville, with about 3–5 round trips a day per route and some stops on request only. GO Transit bus route 12 from Burlington GO stops at Ontario St and the QEW, about 2.5 km north of Beamsville centre.
