Libreville

Libreville is a two-night base: see the sea front and the market before 10:30, rest indoors at midday, use hotel-arranged cars after dark — and settle the park transfer before you leave the city.

Libreville is spread along the Estuary coast, prices are high for the region and the walkable pieces are small. The trips that go wrong walk long stretches in midday heat, carry cash into the Mont-Bouët market crowd, or arrive with no car booked. Four clusters cover a first visit; the parks are reached by plane, boat or the Transgabonais train, so keep the Libreville bed on both sides of the park.
