Get around
A car is necessary for Sawmill Park, Nathan Lester House and most restaurants; only the Foxwoods complex is walkable, and the casino rents scooters for guests who need them. Shuttles run between the Foxwoods hotel entrances and the Pequot Museum. Amtrak serves New London, about 20 miles away, then taxi or rideshare.
