- Nokkakivi Amusement Park opens June–August only; check daily hours before travelling.
- The Keitele Canal has 4.8 m bridge clearance: not passable for sailing yachts.
Very safe. The real risks are water (cold lakes, no lifeguards outside summer), dark unlit roads in winter, and the Saraakallio site's private land and lack of a trail.
