Getting there
Fly into Harry Reid International (LAS). From the airport, a taxi or rideshare to a mid-Strip hotel is a short drive; the drive time depends heavily on traffic, so allow extra on Friday and Sunday evenings. Some hotels run shuttles — check with your booking.
Once you are on the Strip, walk. The core from Mandalay Bay to the Venetian is long and hot in summer, so use the monorail or a rideshare for the far ends. Downtown is a separate rideshare or bus ride north, not a walk from mid-Strip.
Flight times from home countries vary by origin and season; check schedules when you book, since nonstop service to Las Vegas is not available from every city.
