The core is walkable: Detroit Avenue between Cook and Bunts covers most of it in 15–20 minutes on foot. RTA bus #26 runs along Detroit Avenue between downtown Lakewood and downtown Cleveland in about 45 minutes; the Red Line stops at West 117th and Triskett, a walk from the southeast neighbourhoods. Driving is easy but parking near the core is tight; speed limits are 20 mph in school zones and 25 mph elsewhere and are enforced.
