Kitty Hawk is a small Outer Banks town strung along US 158 and NC 12, between Southern Shores to the north and Kill Devil Hills to the south. Get around
No local bus service. A private car is the practical option; taxis and rideshare exist but are thin, especially off-season. Walking and cycling work on the beach road and the multi-use path, not for the whole town.
