Get around
The town centre is small and walkable. Buses X85 and X87 run from Glasgow Buchanan station twice an hour, about 30 min. Lenzie is the nearest railway station, one mile south, with trains from Glasgow Queen Street every 30 min taking 12 min. The canal towpath is good for walking and cycling west to Glasgow and east to Falkirk.
