Kinsarvik
Half a day to see the 12th-century church and the Hardanger Bridge; use it as a stop on the Hardangerfjord loop, not a base.
Kinsarvik is a small village at the head of the Hardangerfjord, the administrative centre of Ullensvang municipality. Its main draw is the 1160 stone church and proximity to the Hardanger Bridge, one of the world's longest suspension bridges. Most travellers pass through on the scenic drive between Bergen and the fjords, stopping for 1–2 hours.
